I found 2 new workout outfits at my local Marshall’s. I know Marshall’s can be really hit or miss depending on the time of day, week, month, and year, LOL, but this day I scored! At one point I actually had 10 pairs of pants and capris of various colors struggling to narrow it down.
Be sure to scroll down to see what I paid versus the MSRP!
I love the sage color for fall for the first outfit. The long sleeve top is Miken Flow and the capris are Gottex, but the colors are nearly a perfect match.
The top is lightweight, great for the cooler evenings outside and warmer gyms as the heat gets turned back on. The GRATEFUL graphic across the front, is a cute detail for the season, as well as a reminder to be grateful for the body you have.
These Rachel capri leggings are my first pair of workout capris, I thought they would be better for the fall weather, helping me stay a bit warmer than shorts, but letting me keep a little cooler than full pants would. I prefer sleek and simple designs for my workout bottoms and have fallen in love with these kinds of side pockets!
The second outfit is more for late fall into winter. As I said I originally had a lot of different color pants in my hand, but ultimately went with the one that I thought went best with this top. By pure coincidence, the long-sleeve top is again Miken Flow and pants are Gottex.
The long-sleeved top is more of a lightweight sweatshirt that has a light layer of fleece on the inside. It is super soft against the skin. It could also be worn as athleisure; I’ve already worn it out to an evening baseball game since it’s cute and kept me warm. POSITIVE MIND-VIBES-LIFE is the perfect motivation when working out through the cooler temps just around the corner.
The ankle-length pants are the Rachel ankle leggings, same design as the capris only longer, so love the style and the pockets!
I only ended up with one sports bra, I would have preferred two, but there wasn’t much of a selection when I was there. This one goes well with both outfits though! The neutral tones of the watercolor print lets it work with a variety of colors.
I may have been taken in by the print, but the style and construction is what made me keep it. The outer printed layer comes further down, hitting the waist instead of stopping right under the bust, like most sports bras. The inside still has all the support of a regular sports bra and includes removable pads.
Brand is Harmony and Balance, and I will definitely be on the look out for more like these in the future.
I’d say each piece is true to size. If you are between sizes I’d size up in the leggings, or at least try both sizes to see which one is more comfortable for you. Sometimes all you need to re-motivate is a cute new workout outfit. I hope you’ve been inspired to find something cute and stay with your workout routine too (mostly).
Unfortunately, Marshalls doesn’t have these items listed on their website or on the T.J. Maxx website, so you’ll have to see if you can find them out your local store!
